Lab 9: One Report, Many Sources
Combine café, event, and game-session activity into one consistent report with CASE and UNION.
BEFORE THE LAB
1. Prepare for Lab 9
Turn CASE rules and source records into a defensible report
Read before class; there is no graded pre-lab check this week. Eight topics connect the Board Game Café database to guided practice. Use a short team warm-up, then work the official Lab 9 questions.
Pre-lab reading only this week; no graded pre-lab check.
DURING THE LAB
2. Use the official questions and data
The handout contains the complete questions, required column names, findings, and report instructions. Keep its question numbers in your report.
Boreal Board Game Café
The assigned teaching database is ready in the browser. Quick schema shows its tables and columns; signed-in, approved students can save SQL drafts to their account. Wait for the saved indicator before leaving; guests keep drafts on this device.
Keep your SQL as text, your result evidence, and your explanation together. Complete the handout’s client task and personal reflections where assigned.
AFTER THE LAB
3. Submit your own lab report
You may work with others as the handout permits, but each person submits their own report. Use the official report template and check the assignment for the current deadline and requirements.
