Meet the table · SELECT, FROM, ORDER BY id and LIMIT as a preview · level 6 of 6

Better for exploring, or better for a report?

Level 6: Transfer it · Exercise 2 of 2

Same idea as Meet the table, new data.

Two queries on Northshore Coffee. A: SELECT * FROM menu_items WHERE category = 'Tea' ORDER BY price, id. B: the same, but only id, name and price. One teammate is exploring the menu; another needs a report with exactly id, name and price for the tea items, cheapest first, ties by id. Write B. Then say which query fits each person, and why a shorter result is not evidence that it ran faster.

Finish line: 7 rows · columns id, name, price · in the order the question gives

Data: Northshore Coffee.
